Tirunelveli Medical College (TVMC), established in 1965, is one of the oldest and most reputed government medical colleges in South Tamil Nadu. Spread across 350 acres, the college is located at Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, and is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. TVMC is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
