The school offers a USA style medical curriculum with USMLE focused teaching. The small class size allows for a more personalized learning experience. The curriculum practices Integrated Learning Program, taught in English. The highly qualified faculty emphasizing on Interactive Studies and Problem Based Learning.

The American University of Barbados School of Medicine is operating from its lush green campus in Wildey, Saint Michael, Barbados. The northern part of the property houses several building and parking areas, while the southern part include cricket ground and tennis court. The barbados medicalcollege buildings are aesthetically and architecturally designed. AUB is committed to academic excellence and research. The school has actively engaged in publishing research papers in International Journals.
