Overview of Ad-din Akij Medical College (AAMC) Khulna

Ad-din Foundation was established in 1980 with the aim of supporting the underprivileged majority of Bangladesh. Its first project was building an orphanage in Jessore. During its thirty-seven years of development, Ad-din has expanded its existence of diverse projects in several parts of the country.
Ad-din’s current projects include hospitals in Dhaka, Keranigonj, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, and Postogola; Medical Colleges in Dhaka, Jessore, Keranigonj, and Khulna; Nursing College in Dhaka, Nursing Institutes in Dhaka, Jessore and Kushtia and a Medical Technology Institute in Jessore. There are also Mobile Eye clinics, Maternal and Child Health Project, Prevention and repair of obstetric Fistulae a plus Project, and Integrated Health and Microfinance Program including Health Insurance.
Ad-din hospitals were established with the aim of providing affordable quality care. Ad-din’s chain hospitals are now recognized as centers of excellence acclaimed for their quality, affordability, and patient friendliness.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh accorded approval to Ad-din Women’s Medical College (AWMC), Dhaka in 2008, Ad-dinSakina Medical College (ASMC), Jessore in 2012, Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College (BAMC), Keranigonj, Dhaka in 2013 and Ad-dinAkij Medical College (AAMC), Khulna in 2013.
Ad-din is trying to secure excellent teaching facilities and a dedicated team of faculty members some of whom are authorities in their own disciplines. Given the resources at its disposal, Ad-din continues to develop outstanding medical graduates who are both excellent in their clinical practice and equally conscious of their social obligations.

Fees Structure

Foreign Student's course fee (Session: 2024-2025)

Five-year MBBS course fee in Ad-din Akij Medical College, Khulna.

Selected Foreign Students will pay admission fees and other charges as mentioned below:

1.	Total admission fees for 5 years: $33,000.00 (Thirty-three thousand USD only) Self-arrangement one-time the the (Including admission, tuition, session fees and hostel fee)
2.	Hostel fee: Including course fee.
3.	Food charge: Self arrangement. Hostel dining will be organized by the students and supervised by the hostel super.
4.	Utility bill: Each student will pay utility bill Tk.2,000.00 (two thousand) per month.
5.	Hostel security: $ 100.00 (one hundred USD) one time payment as non-refundable during entry time in the hostel.
6.	The registration fee has to be paid to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the University of Dhaka as per the decision of the respective authority.
7.	Value-added Tax (VAT) if applicable as per government rate to be deposited to the government treasury. Payment of Govt authorities/University fees will be paid through the college authority.

Mode of Payment:

1. Before admission USD 5,000.00 (five thousand) should be paid as booking money. (Bank transfer).
2. At the time of admission student will pay $ 8,000.00 (Eight thousand) (Bank transfer).
3. Rest $20,000.00 (twenty thousand) will be paid in four instalments through bank:

Eligibility Criteria of Ad-din Akij Medical College (AAMC) Khulna

Eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS course 2023-24:

Must have passed Qualifying examination (HSC/'A') or equivalent examination.
SSC/'O' level or equivalent examination be passed 2 years of HSC/'A' level or equivalent.
HSC/ 'A' or equivalent examination be passed in 2024/ 2023.
Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC 'O' level or equivalent and HSC / 'A' level or equivalent examination: 7 GPA
Minimum GPA in SSC/ 'O' level or equivalent and HSC / 'A' level or equivalent examination: 3GPA
Minimum GPA in Biology: 3.5
For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in SC/ 'O' level or equivalent exam, only the top 5
subjects are considered. Therefore, GPA in "O' levcl= (total marks obtained in top five subjectsy5.
The optional subject shall be considered if the GPA is below 5 (five)
For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in HSC/'A' level or equivalent exam, only 3 subjects
(Physics. Chemistry and Biology) are considered for the calculation of GPA. Qualifying Grade in each subject
individually is 'C'. Therefore, GPA in 'A' level = (total marks obtained in three subjects)/3.

You have to undertake the following steps if you decide to get admitted into Ad-dinAkij Medical College

Get the photocopies of the following documents attested from the foreign ministry of your country.
i. School/College graduation certificates
ii. Mark/grade sheet
iii. School leaving certificate (Testimonial)
iv. Copy of Passport
v. Two passport-size photographs of the applicant.
Download the MBBS admission form’ from the website of the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry(www. mofa.gov.bd) and fill it up. You must mention your medical college of choice.
Pay $70 (Subject to change) in any bank in your country in favour of DGHS and get the receipt.
Deposit your attested documents, bank receipt, and filled admission form to the Bangladesh Embassy of your country for processing of Grade Equivalency and permission from the Government of Bangladesh. You can do this job by yourself or by an agent.
Send copies of your certificates, mark sheets, passport, and a letter of intent to the Ad-dinAkij Medical College Authorized representative (Email: [email protected] or WhatsApp: +918499000022) for booking of your seat.
Having received the permission letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the grade equivalency of your certificates, the CareerMarg office will inform you and proceed with your admission.
