Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital and Research Centre (P) Ltd. (GMC) is a health education institution located in Kaski district, Nepal. It deals with as national priority industry for a medical college and teaching hospital. The project is founded on its own land and is purely Nepalese ownership.
The college owns about 204 ropanis of land which satisfy the mandatory requisites of the affiliating university and the professional council. The arrangement of infrastructures is made in compliance with the “Guidelines and Infrastructure Directions for Establishment and Operation of Private and Non-Government Health Institutions, 2070” published by Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal.
The college will provide free tuition fees to ten (10%) percent of students nominated by Nepal Government. Gandaki Medical College proposes 900 bedded teaching hospital with all activity of clinical and medical facilities, thus providing excellent health care amenities. Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital and Research Centre Pvt. Ltd with 550 bed capacity located in Prithivi Chowk of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City-9. Additional 200 bed will be added within this year.
