BACKGROUND IN INFORMATION:
It was first established as MARKS ENT clinic in year 1995 by the founder Chairman of MARKS Group Late Brig. Gen. M Masudur Rahman Khan an eminent ENT- Head & Neck Surgeon of the country. A visionary who realized the importance of heath care in the Country and dedicated himself to the service of humanity. He decided to establish a Dental College in year 2007 and later on established MARKS Medical College in year 2011. MARKS Dental College became a sister Concern of MARKS Medical College and hospital in year 2015 since then this institute is providing quality Medical and Dental education and.
MARKS MEDICAL COLLEGE AND DENTAL UNIT INTRODUCTION:
MARKS Medical College established in year 2011. Started its journey with enrollment of 50 medical students. At present the number has increased to 70 students and this was possible only because of very good qualitative academic performance. Ministry of Health Bangladesh satisfied by its performance allocated 20 more seats to this college in the year. Now the total students enrolled is 70 of which 40% is allocated to foreign students. In MARKS Dental Unit total number of students enrolled each year is 50 of which 40% is allocated to foreign students. Undergraduate degree in Medical and Dental Unit is awarded under university of Dhaka.

MARKS Medical College is approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt. of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) and affiliated to University of Dhaka.
