Maharaja Chhatrasal Medical College (MCMC), Koraiwas is a major government medical education and healthcare project developed by the Government of Haryana to strengthen medical infrastructure in the Bhiwani region. The college is being developed with the vision of expanding access to quality healthcare services and creating opportunities for medical education in the state.
Spread across a large campus with modern infrastructure, the institution is designed to provide advanced medical training, hospital services, and research facilities. Once fully operational, the college will contribute significantly to improving healthcare accessibility in Haryana.
The project of Maharaja Chhatrasal Medical College, Koraiwas represents one of the important healthcare development initiatives taken by the Haryana government.
The foundation stone of the medical college was laid by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in December 2018. The construction of the project began in 2019 with an estimated investment of approximately ₹500 crore.
Initially, the project was planned to be completed within two years. However, the progress slowed down during the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected construction timelines across the country. Despite these challenges, the development of the medical college continued, and the project gradually moved toward completion.
Once operational, the college will serve as a modern medical education institution aimed at training future doctors and improving healthcare services for the population of Bhiwani and surrounding districts.
Maharaja Chhatrasal Medical College is being developed on a sprawling 76-acre campus, designed to accommodate modern academic and healthcare infrastructure.
The campus has been planned to provide a comprehensive environment for both medical education and hospital services.
The project includes:
This well-planned infrastructure aims to support both academic learning and practical clinical training for medical students.
