The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the commencement of the online application process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025. This examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions across India. The NEET (UG) 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on 4th May 2025.

Purpose of NEET (UG) 2025

As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission ct, 2019, NEET (UG) is a common and uniform entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India. The NEET (UG) 2025 scores will be applicable for admission to the following courses: 


1. MBBS and BDS courses as per the rules governed by the respective regulatory bodies.   
2. BVSc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry).   
3. BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery), and BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery) as per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020.   
4. BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) under the National Commission for Homeopathy.   
5. B.Sc. Nursing courses for Military Nursing Service (MNS) aspirants at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals.

Application Fee for NEET (UG) 2025 

The application fee varies based on the category of the candidate and the exam centre location (India or outside India). The fee details are as follows:

Note:  
The fee includes processing charges and Goods and Services Tax (GST).   
Candidates must ensure the successful transaction of the fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

How to Apply for NEET (UG) 2025 

Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) 2025 only through the online mode on the official website: https://neet.nta.nic.in. Follow the steps below: 


Step 1: Registration 

  1. Visit the official website: https://neet.nta.nic.in. 
  2. Click on the "NEET (UG) 2025 Registration" link. 
  3. Fill in the required details, including name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. 
  4. A unique Application Number and password will be generated. Save these credentials for future use. 


Step 2: Fill the Application Form 

  1. Log in using the application number and password. 
  2. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details. 
  3. Select the preferred exam centre and language of the question paper. 


Step 3: Upload Documents 

  1. Candidates must upload the following documents in the prescribed format: 
  2. Recent Passport-sized Photograph (10–200 KB, JPG/JPEG format). 
  3. Scanned Signature (4–30 KB, JPG/JPEG format). 
  4. Class 10 Certificate (for date of birth proof, 50–300 KB, PDF format). 
  5. Category Certificate (if applicable, 50–300 KB, PDF format). 
  6. PwD Certificate (if applicable, 50–300 KB, PDF format).   
     

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee 

  1. Pay the application fee online using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.   
     

Step 5: Submit and Print Confirmation Page 

  1. After successful payment, submit the application form. 
  2. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Important Instructions for Candidates 


Only one application is allowed per candidate. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.   
Candidates must provide their own or parents/guardians' email address and mobile number, as all communications will be sent to these contacts.   
Candidates must strictly follow the instructions provided in the information bulletin available on the official website.   
The application form will not be accepted in any mode other than online.

Additional Notes   
OBC-NCL Candidates: Only candidates falling under the Central List of OBC-NCL (available on http://www.ncbc.nic.in) should mention OBC-NCL in the application form. State-listed OBC-NCL candidates not in the Central List must choose General.   
Military Nursing Service (MNS) Aspirants: Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals must qualify for NEET (UG) 2025.
