NEET-UG 2025 or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Under Graduate)-2025 is an entrance test for the admissions of the candidates into undergraduate MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS and all other medical based courses within the boundaries of India. Seat allotment based on merit, preference, and reservation policies is carried out by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and appropriate State Counselling Authorities.

Admission to medical and dental courses is categorized into different quotas and institutions:

| State Quota | 85% of goverment college seats are reserved for state residents. state authorities manage the counselling. |
| Central Universities & Deemed Universities | Include AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU, and other institutions. Admissions are via MCC counselling. |
| Private Medical Colleges | Managed by private institutions and includes Management & NRI Quota seats |
| Central Pool Quota | Reserved for candidates nominated by goverment department (e.g, Defence Paramilitary Forces, and PM Cares Quota). |
| AIIMS & JIPMER | Admissions are through NEET-UG and MCC oversees counselling |
🔹 New Update (2025): AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) candidates must register with MCC first before applying separately to AFMC Pune.
The Indian government provides seat reservations for different categories in AIQ seats:

PwBD candidates can avail 5% horizontal reservation in AIQ and state quota seats as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
Eligibility for PwBD Quota:
✔️ Minimum 40% disability as per MCC's medical assessment.
✔️ Medical Fitness Certificate from MCC-designated disability assessment centers.
✔️ 5% relaxation in NEET qualifying marks.
Documents Required for PwBD Candidates:

📌 NEET UG 2025 Scorecard & Admit Card.
📌 Medical assessment approval before seat allotment.
🔹 Updated Guidelines: Candidates must appear for medical assessment at MCC-approved centers before seat allocation.

🔹 New Update (2025): DU & BHU may use NEET-UG scores for other health-related courses.
PwBD candidates should follow these steps for admissions:
1️⃣ Obtain a PwBD certificate from MCC-designated medical boards.
2️⃣ Verify eligibility criteria before registering for NEET UG 2025 counselling.
3️⃣ Upload the PwBD certificate during MCC’s counselling registration.
4️⃣ Appear for a medical fitness assessment at an MCC-authorized disability center.
5️⃣ Check MCC notifications for any updates on PwBD seat allocation
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for AIQ, deemed universities, and central universities.
