The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2021] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, the 12 September 2021 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India, as per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and relevant Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997, as amended from time to time. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted are : English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The Result of NEET (UG) - 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data may also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The NEET (UG) – 2021 result data could also be used for admissions to BVSc & AH courses under the 15% quota of VCI in recognized Veterinary Colleges. However, the Council has to approach the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW in order to obtain the said data of results.
The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of the result and providing category-wise “All India Rank (AIR)” /Merit List to: the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) & Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, for the conduct of counselling by: the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS for admission to MBBS / BDS Courses for the following types of quotas: a) 15% seats All India Quota, b) 100% seats of Central Institutions (including 85% State quota seats) of ABVIMS& RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU, c) 100% seats of AIIMS/ JIPMER and Deemed Universities, d) ESIC (IP quota seats) e) MCC does only the registration for AFMC and forwards the data of registered Candidates to AFMC Authorities for admission process ; AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) for admission to BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS under Central Quota Seats; and providing the Result to the Counselling Authorities of States/UTs through DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services). The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG) – 2021 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India. As per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions, including those governed under any other law in force. NEET (UG) – 2021 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In order to ensure that the candidate data is submitted fast, the Application Form for NEET (UG) – 2021 has been divided into Two Sets/Phases. The first set of information needs to be filled up before the last date of submission of the Application Form online. The second set of information needs to be filled up by the candidates before the declaration of the Result/ downloading of Score Card during the period that would be notified separately through NEET (UG) Portal in due course. All candidates shall fill up each set of information of the Application Form at the respective time of availability. In the absence of filling up of any of the set of information, his/her candidature will be cancelled. The ‘columns’ to be filled up in each set of information are available in the Information Bulletin as Appendix-XVII for the reference of the Candidates. The NEET (UG) – 2021 shall consist of one Question Paper containing 180 Multiple Choice Questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). NEET 2021 will be conducted only one time in a year. The exam will be held in the August 1, 2021 through offline (pen & paper) mode. NTA (National Testing Agency) is the agency which is responsible for organizing NEET entrance test every year. It is a national level entrance test conducted to offer admission into MBBS /BDS courses.

The Syllabus of NEET 2021 will be prescribed by Medical Council of India (MCI). Students will be able to prepare for the entrance test from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects studied in 11th and 12th level.

It will contain Laws of Motion, Electromagnetic Waves, Electrostatic, Behavior of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Electronic Devices, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Properties of Bulk Matter, etc.
Some topics will be some basic concept of chemistry, Hydrogen, Equilibrium, Alcohols, Electro Chemistry, P-Block Elements, Surface Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Phenols and Ethers, etc.
Some basic topics will be Human Physiology, Reproduction, Plant Physiology, Cell Structure and Function, Ecology & Environment, Diversity in Living World, Biology and Human Welfare, etc.
Students can know various NEET preparation tips below which will help them in qualifying the exam with a good score:
Students will be able to download NEET admit card in the fourth week of March 2021. NEET admit card can be downloaded by online mode from NTA website. The admit card will not be provided to the students by post and can only be obtained by entering their login details.
The copy of admit card in PDF format will be also sent to the candidates in their registered mail id. Students should also check complete details present in the admit card to be true and accurate. In case of a mistake in any of the details present in the admit card, students must contact officials to get it corrected before the exam date.
NTA will release NEET answer key in the second week of May 2021 by online mode on the website. The answer key will be released first on a provisional basis. A link will be provided on the website to download the answer key along with the OMR answer sheets. Students will be also allowed to make challenges against the answer key.
For each challenged question, students will be required to pay a sum of Rs.1000 as a processing fee. Fee can be paid by the students through online mode. Students will get a refund of this fee if the challenge made by a candidate will be found true. After this, the final answer key will be released on the website.
NEET Cut Off will be decided based on various factors – difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates appearing for an exam, the performance of the students in the test, etc. The cut off will be released with the release of result or after it.
The expected cut off marks of NEET 2021 as per the latest trends is 50% marks for general candidates, 45% marks for PH candidates and 40% for reserved category candidate.
To get NEET 2021 Result, students will be required to enter their login details – Roll number & date of birth. The result will be made available through online mode in the first week of June 2021. The result will be prepared and published on the basis of the revised answer key released by the authority.
Category wise result sheet will not be prepared and published on the website. Also, the authority will not be responsible for providing the result through offline mode. After result will be displayed online students must print it for further use in the admission procedure.
After the result announcement, the NEET merit list will be displayed online on the website. The merit list will be prepared by NTA as per the directions of DGHS, DCI and MCI. As per the merit list of NEET-UG, the admission will be done based on AII India Rank for admission into MBBS and BDS courses.
A merit list will be displayed by NTA containing the name of successful candidates who have opted for 15% All India quota seats.
Reservation will be applicable for various categories and cast as per the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government. The criteria for reservation of seats in various government medical colleges under 15% All India quota will be:

NEET Counselling will get started in the August 2021 through online mode. The counselling of NEET is organized by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) and MOHFW (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare). Centralized counselling is organized every year by MCC for the NEET qualified candidates.
In the counselling process, students will have to register for counselling, make choice and lock it, allotment of seat and report at the allotted college. Students also have to submit their original /photocopies of documents or certificates. These documents are:
