The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, through the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has officially released the MBBS and BDS Admission Policy for the 2025–2026 academic session. This guideline outlines the eligibility criteria, application process, document requirements, and fee structure for foreign students (including Indian students) seeking admission to government and private medical and dental colleges in Bangladesh.
Every year, the DGME invites applications from foreign nationals (especially from SAARC countries like India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan) for admission into MBBS and BDS programs in both government and private medical colleges in Bangladesh.
The 2025–26 circular emphasizes maintaining academic transparency, the NEET qualification for Indian students, and GPA-based merit assessment in accordance with Bangladesh’s education board standards.
According to the official DGME notice, a fixed quota is reserved for foreign students in both public and private institutions.

Admissions are managed directly through DGME (Directorate General of Medical Education) via the official portal: www.dgme.gov.bd.
