• Minimum GPA (After equivalency with SSC & HSC)=7
• Minimum GPA in Biology= 3.5

Pay the Registration Fee: A registration fee is charged which you can pay in any bank of your respective country in favor of DGHS. Do not forget to collect the receipt. You will need it while submitting the documents. The registration fee is revised every year.

Head to the Bangladesh Embassy of your Country: Submit all the documents required for the Bangladesh medical college admission to the Bangladesh Embassy. MBBS Course Duration and Details of Bangladesh Medical College

The MBBS course at Bangladesh Medical College is of 5 years. It is fragmented into one and one and a half years.

• In the first phase, the professional MBBS is of one and a half years. The subjects for examination are Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry.
• The second phase duration is of 1 year. The subjects of the examination are Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, and Community Medicine.
• The third phase duration is of 1 year. The subjects of the examination are Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Pathology, and Microbiology.
• The fourth phase duration is of one and a half years. It is the last phase and the subjects of the examination are Medicine and Allied Subjects, Surgery and Allied Subjects, and Obstetrics, and Gynaecology.

There are several academic activities conducted at a specified time during these five years. Students have to complete all the examination phases, practical assignments, etc on a timely basis. For local students, there are specified rules that differ from that of foreign students. 

Also, students selected for the MBBS course have to submit a physical fitness certificate from authorized doctors of Bangladesh Medical College. For meritorious students, the college offers 5% free studentships every year for those having a financial crisis to pay their fees.
