KEAM is the entrance examination for UG engineering and pharmacy admissions, as well as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP counseling) for UG courses in the fields of medicine, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture. While the aspirants for BTech and BPharm have to take the entrance examination of KEAM, the other aspirants directly undergo KEAM counseling (CAP) after having registered themselves into KEAM. Further details of the KEAM 2025 admissions process may be read below.
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Exam is a common admission process for considering admissions to different UG courses offered in Kerala colleges approved by Central and State Regulatory Bodies, Universities, and Government. The KEAM is being conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. KEAM stands for the entrance test and KEAM centralized counseling process. For the UG engineering course and pharmacy course admission, candidates have to register for KEAM, go through the KEAM CBT test, and attend the CAP.
However, in the case of admission to all other courses like medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses, the candidate has to register for KEAM and appear for the KEAM centralized counseling process (CAP) along with scores of applicable entrance exams (like NEET and NATA) for admission to the colleges participating therein.
