International School of Management (ISM Patna) is the first private initiative towards pursuing excellence in management education and entrepreneurship that offers the best PGDM course in Bihar. The sprawling 3-acre state-of-the-art green campus was inaugurated by the honourable Chief Minister Sri Nitish Kumar in the year 2011.

ISM Patna offers an AICTE-accredited PGDM Program which is designed to make students corporate-ready, either to become entrepreneurs, junior-level executives in the industry or to pursue higher education, by equipping them with a holistic view of the business environment, basic business functions and their interrelationships. The program's thrust is on the attainment of emotional maturity and personality development of students through the acquisition of analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

In 2020 due to COVID-19, millions of people lost their jobs. However, ISM Patna was proficient in finishing their placement process of students by the end of February. More than 30% of students were fortunate to obtain double offers. The average salary rose from 5 LPA to 6.0 LPA. Every student in the batch was successfully placed. The highest pay package offered and accepted was 18 LPA. The students of PGDM were opportune to get placed with reputed organizations like JustDial, Canara Bank, Byjus, Wipro, Flipkart and many others.

ISM is one of the top PGDM colleges in Bihar. It was formed with a vision to change the management education scenario. To do so, ISM Patna is providing an academic environment where students can benefit from distinguished faculties having both Industrial and academic experience, as well as from their peers. The institute follows most of the practices, systems and processes of leading management institutes. It has drawn faculty members from institutes like IIM, IIT, XLRI, and other premier B-schools across the country. The curriculum has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of the industry.

Apart from delivering quality education, the institute also conducts some social welfare activities under its Society Connect Program for the benefit of nearby villagers. With regular academic and Industry Connect activities, the college is actively involved in the following Society Connect activities like Computer Literacy Program, Internet Kiosk, English Training, Mission Leadership, Tree Plantation, Health Checkup Camp Flood Relief initiative Camp, etc.

At least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation [45% in case of SC/ST and Person With Disability (PWD)], from any AIU-approved University with valid CAT, CMAT, MAT or XAT scores. Students appearing in their final year exams or awaiting their results can also apply Results of such students should be submitted before 30th November.

The mission of the Training & Placement Cell of ISM Patna is to provide students with a platform for exercising their potential to gain precious experience by working in the industry. It also works as an interface between various organisations seeking talented young graduates and post-graduates of different disciplines like Marketing, HR, Finance etc. We provide training to our students in Aptitude preparation, Personality Development and Spoken English to become employable in private as well as in the government sector. The Training & Placement Cell of ISM Patna is well equipped with plenty of infrastructure like a Multimedia seminar hall, Lecture theatres, Communication Labs, Group Discussion room, Conference room etc. for Pre Placement Talks & Presentations and Computer labs for online tests. Apart from these, the Training & Placement Cell of ISM Patna also has a video conference facility available for the students. In addition, the Training & Placement Cell of ISM Patna also arranges expert lectures of Industry Managers in both Technical and Human Resource domains for the students and faculty as well. There are various Workshops and Seminars organised during different trimesters for the benefit of students regarding the latest trends and needs in the industry. Apart from these, the Lateral Placement at ISM Patna also addresses the need for an organisation for management students with prior work experience. Lateral Placement is similar to fresher recruitment but is conducted throughout the year keeping in mind the inherent requirements of such a process. Alumni with more than 3 years of work experience only are eligible for the Lateral Placement process.
