Every individual should have equal access to health and education. This can be possible only when there are sufficient human resources and facilities in this sector. It is with this in mind, Nepalgunj Medical College (NGMC) has been established to produce qualified human resources as well as to provide quality healthcare to the People.
Nepalgunj Medical College is a place where we not only share the knowledge of saving lives but also try to inculcate in each student’s mind his duty as a responsible health professional when they walk out of the college.
Our efforts in producing a socially responsible health personality have come true and today, we are considered as one of the most respected and the largest medical institution of Nepal.
We feel proud when we see our graduates doing well all over the world and leading a successful life. We call this our true reward and testimony of our quality oriented education. With such an outstanding result, we have to be even more dedicated and committed as the expectations have increased too.
As such, we have our own infrastructure required to run an MBBS and post graduation in various specialties (MD, MS, PG) course in Medical education such as a full scale 750 bedded at kohalpur hospital and 250 bedded hospital at nepalgunj hospital, hostel & boarding facilities, sports and extracurricular facilities, library & media facilities which demonstrate our commitment to developing a world-class institution in Nepal.
The institution has also understood the dearth of Medical Professionals in the entire region and beyond the border. A sizable chunk of students are Nepalese and with every passing out the students, we feel that we have indeed helped to fill this vacuum to some extent.
We welcome all those committed students to our colleagues who have dreams to become respected citizens of their country and smile from their heart when a life is saved. We hope this Prospectus will provide required information to address your queries. In case you have any specific queries not please let us know and we will be happy to reply to you.
