Chaitanya University, Hyderabad

Chaitanya is a 33 year old Institute and has obtained the most prestigious and commendable Deemed to be University status by University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in the year 2019. From the past one decade, only five colleges (2 government and 3 private) across the country were given this status. In the entire country only 126 Institutions were given a status of Deemed to be University. On submission of our proposals, Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, ICR Division, Government of India and the UGC permitted our University shifted from Hanamkonda, Warangal to Vicinity Hyderabad vide Gazette notification dated 21st July 2023.

Foreign students from 15 countries and students from other states feel secure, and they are assured of an unhampered academic schedule, enabling them to complete their course of study in time to leave for their countries.

• The AICTE-Student Learning Assessment (PARAKH) and Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) (ranked our Institution with 279th Rank out of 4347 Institutions.

• The entire University Website as well as the software for accounts, attendance, online fee payment, examinations and all other administrative tools, were developed and are maintained by our inhouse team.
• Chaitanya App was created for online convenience of parents and students to view their performance and attendance.

Code of conduct for the students

• 1. Students should put in at least 75% attendance to become eligible to appear for 
  University end examinations.
• 2. All students will have to present seminars compulsorily through Power Point 
  Presentation once in a week.
• 3. Usage of I.D. cards is compulsory.
• 4. Dress code: Wearing shorts or skirts is not allowed in the campus.
• 5. Bus facility is available from different locations.

Candidates who secure 50% and above aggregate marks in qualifying examinations are eligible for all courses

Students who desire to seek admissions into UG & PG courses, may join the courses

• * Admissions into B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, Pharm.D, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. Nursing and all Postgraduate courses will be offered on the basis of order of merit secured by the candidates in CHAITANYA ENTRANCE TEST (CET) or any other Entrance Test recognized by the UGC. The vacant seats are filled through direct admission.
• * Entrance Test Rankers will be awarded scholarships. Candidates seeking admissions into Ph.D. programs should appear for CHAITANYA ENTRANCE TEST (CET) conducted by the University
