Yes, there is an exam for procuring the required license for practice and the exam is in Arabic and English languanges.
Yes, Indian students can obtain a license to practice in Egypt. There are 02 conditions for it: a. Student must successfully complete 02 years of Internship and have to pass an exam organized by Egyptian Medical Syndicate. If a student fulfills both the criteria, required license will be issued by the Egyptian Medical Syndicate in consultation with the concerned university.
In general, Internship is for 2 years period after completion of MBBS Degree. There is a provision where students can opt for 1 year or 2 years of internship as per their requirement. This provision is applicable in all Universities.
Language of teaching/instruction is English only in 3 Universities- Ain Shams, Cairo and Mansoura. As of date, almost all Indian student are pursuing medine in Ain Shams and Cairo University only.
