Chaitanya University, Hyderabad

Chaitanya is a 33 year old Institute and has obtained the most prestigious and commendable Deemed to be University status by University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in the year 2019. From the past one decade, only five colleges (2 government and 3 private) across the country were given this status. In the entire country only 126 Institutions were given a status of Deemed to be University. On submission of our proposals, Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, ICR Division, Government of India and the UGC permitted our University shifted from Hanamkonda, Warangal to Vicinity Hyderabad vide Gazette notification dated 21st July 2023.

Foreign students from 15 countries and students from other states feel secure, and they are assured of an unhampered academic schedule, enabling them to complete their course of study in time to leave for their countries.

• Award of Gold Medals to University Degree Toppers & First Rankers of PG courses.
• The University has instituted University Research Fellowships (URF's) for Ph.D. Scholars to encourage the Meritorious Students. The Gold Medalists in PG are eligible for URFs.
• The AICTE-Student Learning Assessment (PARAKH) and Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) (ranked our Institution with 279th Rank out of 4347 Institutions.
• To provide classroom learning an exciting way, enable students to learn and explore new concepts using technology and create a more dynamic learning experience, our University installed Smart Interactive Board in classrooms.

• The entire University Website as well as the software for accounts, attendance, online fee payment, examinations and all other administrative tools, were developed and are maintained by our inhouse team.
• Chaitanya App was created for online convenience of parents and students to view their performance and attendance.
• Marks are awarded for classwork and lab attendance.
• Seminars are a part of our Curriculum.
• Introduction of Community Service and Rural Based Projects in the curriculum.
• Wi-Fi enabled campus for up-to-date information and instruction with Digital Boards
• Fortnightly Research Review Meetings with all Ph.D. scholars. Screenshots are shared for review.
• PDF files of all textbooks required for students are made available in Chaitanya At-Home-Library on the University Website.
• Chaitanyam Awards are given to Faculty Members for Best Paper Publication and Patent Grants.
• All M.Sc. Students undertake Community Service and Project works as part of their curriculum. Paper/poster presentation in conferences is mandatory for all P.G. students.
• State-of-Art Labs, Programs and Tours of Ek Bharat Shresht Bharath, Sustainable Campus, UKTI Sessions under Guru Dakshina, Video lessons on YouTube, Online Quizzes, and Earn-While-You- Learn Scheme.
